Serious illness often causes pain and other symptoms, including nausea, shortness of breath and anxiety. You can count on Centrica Care Navigators to help relieve your suffering and make you more comfortable so you can enjoy a higher quality of life at home.
Centrica Palliative Care provides an extra layer of support for patients with an advanced serious illness who are struggling with symptoms, goals of care and/or planning care for the future. The main goal is to improve quality of life for you and your family. Centrica Palliative Care (“palliate” means to relieve or lessen) can be applied along with curative treatments, including clinical trials, to relieve side effects – or it can manage symptoms apart from seeking a cure.
Our expert team works with your primary care physician to deliver additional support to the care you’re already receiving with your current care plan. Centrica Palliative Care is provided wherever you call home – whether a private residence, an independent or assisted living community, or a nursing home.
Currently, Centrica Palliative Care is being provided at homes only in Kalamazoo, Van Buren and Calhoun counties.
For patients entering their final months of life, Centrica Hospice Care includes expert pain and symptom management to keep comfort and personal fulfillment at their highest.
