Alzheimer’s Association

The Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Chapter is the premier source of information and support for Michigan residents living with dementia and their families and caregivers. Through our statewide network of offices, the Alzheimer’s Association offers a broad range of free programs and services, funding for Alzheimer’s and dementia research, and advocacy efforts on behalf of Michiganders.

Kalamazoo County Government

Michigan is home to sixteen Area Agency on Aging (AAA) organizations that serve 83 counties. Federal, state, and local governance work together to enhance the quality of life for senior living independently.

Kalamazoo County’s AAA is housed in the Kalamazoo County Government under the Older Adult Services Division. Programming assists older adults and their caregivers access services, participate in health education classes, provide support for individuals living at home independently, advocacy, elder abuse prevention, and more.
