Centrica Joins the NorthStar Care Community
In February of 2024, Centrica Care Navigators announced the next bold step in our journey to provide the best care possible for those needing help navigating serious illness. We are proud to be affiliating with the NorthStar Care Community alongside two of Michigan’s legacy nonprofit hospices – Hospice of Michigan and Arbor Hospice.
Together, we will have the honor of serving over 2,700 hospice and palliative patients each day across Michigan. By pooling our resources within the NorthStar Care Community, we can share best practices and leverage economies of scale as we look to grow the number of patients we can serve. As a member of the NorthStar Care Community, we will have the ability to touch more lives than ever and serve as one of the leading and largest nonprofit serious illness providers in the United States.
We’re still your leading community-based serious illness experts, and that won’t change.
Centrica will continue to keep our name and strong community presence. Our high-quality care will continue, thanks to our amazing, dedicated staff and volunteers. Donations made to Centrica will continue to support our southwest Michigan community. We will still accept the same insurance programs and can accept referrals across all of Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Eaton, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties. Our specialty care at Rose Arbor Place will also continue to serve those with acute hospice needs.
